Power2Pass is a driving school startup based in Manchester. With no background at all the company needed a website that was clear and concise that had flashes of bright colour that would appear to the generally young audience.
On the back end an in depth content management was required for the administrators of the site to input information and have a general overview of everything that was happening between instructors and students.
Students needed to be able to book and pay for their lessons once logged in and instructors needed to be able to receive payment for lessons, approve/ reject lesson request along with have an overview of all their students and have an online diary management system.
Underweb worked closely with Power2Pass to create an attractive and bright logo for the company which laid the foundations for the colour scheme of the website.
An easy to navigate website layout was produced which outlined all the packages the driving school offered along with their prices and clear contact information.
The content management system need to allow for the sales and administartor team at power2pass to be able to input customer enquiries to the database as telephone calls come in. these enquiries would all be grouped with the website enquiries and a note system in place so that notes could be left when action was taken, enquiries could be closed were necessary or converted into a learner profile when a lead was successfully placed with an instructor.
The admin team needed to be able to create new learner profiles as students were accepted and placed with instructors and also able to create new driving instructors and complete them a profile once employed by the company.
From the students point of view once logged in they would be able to view any booked lessons, request a lesson via the calendar, set up their pickup location and pay for the lesson securely through the stripe gateway whilst never actually being redirected away from the site.
An instructor using this web application would firstly be alerted when logging in if they had any lesson requests to respond to. if the lesson was accepted then the confirmation would be sent to the student and the payment would be moved to the instructors account via stripe. Should the instructor reject the lesson because they are unable to do that time for whatever reason they would be required to fill out a short form to either explain why or suggest an alternative time which would then show on the learners profile for them to act accordingly.
